Adding and removing weight bolts is simple and all you generally need is a long allen wrench...but sometimes a screwdriver too. Just flip your cue upside down and notice the rubber bottom, this rubber is called the bumper. Bumpers usually just pull out but some twist out, just fidget with it for a minute but if it dosent show any signs of movement then stop dont break it off your cue might not be weight bolt compatable you should bring it to your local store for an exam...and on a few cues you will clearly see a small screw head, hence the screwdriver.  After removing the bumper look inside and you will see the head of the bolt  precisely positioned an inch or two inside. Use the corresponding allen wrench to remove the bolt and add your preferred weight, or dont use a bolt at all if you like the 18oz cue weight. Then reinsert the bumper and your good to go!  If you do need assistance your local store or technician should easily be able to help you.
